Dear friends of Norway,
The National Day of Norway, 17th of May, is soon at hand and on a normal year, you would have received an invitation to the Norwegian National Day celebration event. We had high hopes that life in Estonia would also be back to normal by now, but we still have to admit that organizing larger events is not conceivable.
We will, of course, celebrate the 17th of May still, but we will still do it virtually. Nevertheless, there will be much to enjoy!
An outdoor exhibition will open on Vabaduse square in Tallinn on the occasion of this important Norwegian day. An exhibition, which introduces Norwegian-Estonian relations from the Viking age to the present day. This large traveling exhibition will be open for all from 18th of May until 13th of June in Tallinn and will then start touring in larger Estonian cities. We very much hope that you will get a possibility to see this exhibition in Tallinn or in your hometown.
It will also be a virtual part of celebrations, you can follow it though our social media channels, throughout 17.5.
