 – It was fantastic being here last year, and a blessing to experience people’s strong bonds to the old country, artist Jardar Johansen says. His dream is to establish an annual Christmas tour in USA.

The Norwegian singer is soon embarking on his second US tour. The Norwegian Christmas Concert Tour in North America runs for two weeks, starting in Minneapolis November 21st and ending up in New York on December 3rd.

Jardar says that performing in the “Norwegian heart” of the US, the Mid-West, is a huge privilege.

– We want to share what we feel is the true message of Christmas as well as give a glimpse of Norwegian holiday traditions through music, stories and images. Also my Norwegian band is amazing, he says, smiling.

Jardar will perform in Washington D.C. at the annual Norwegian Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Union Station on November 29th.
