Entrée from Bergen is taking over the second floor at Independent’s Fifth Avenue property in Harlem and presents the two inaugural solo exhibitions part of the brand new Independent's Gallery Residency Program.
The Fifth Avenue gallery residency program will launch with two exhibitions by Entrée (Bergen, Norway), in collaboration with the Norwegian Consulate General in New York. Coinciding with the eighth edition of Independent New York, Entrée will present two solo shows by Norwegian artists Ane Graff and Andrew Amorim.

Ane Graff’s new sculptural works focuses on growth processes "gone array" and on what happens deep within matter when you add new elements to the mix and allow for different relationships to arise.
Andrew Amorim February 28 – March 14, 2017
In a separate room Entrée will present new work by Andrew Amorim. His recent videos have wended through the commodity's role in self-protection and belonging. Often combining found and original material, his montage method discloses a lineage of experimental film running from surrealism to the late 1990.
