Armory Week is the name of the most busy contemporary art fair week of the year, named after New York's premier art fair, The Armory Show. Several art fairs and events are held the same week, eg Independent New York, NADA and over ten others.
The Oslo and Bergen galleries Galleri Brandstrup, OSL Contemporary, Entrée and VI, VII, will be present at The Armory Show and Independent New York, presenting Norwegian and international art. It's a quite new phenomenon that Norwegian galleries and artists are invited to participate in these fairs to such an extent.
