Position: Chauffeur and technical support assistant
Type of employment: Full time, 37,5 hours per week. The contract is for a permanent position, but with initial 6 months trial period.

The main duties are:
- Provide driving services to the Ambassador and the diplomatic staff
- Driving embassy staff to official meetings and events
- Border crossings and international travels
- Organize maintenance and service of the Embassy’s pool of cars
- Coordinate technical support and maintenance of the Embassy buildings
- Purchase necessary equipment for the needs of the Embassy
- Receiving and delivering letters and correspondence
- Other transport related tasks
- Dealing with government and municipal institutions (e.g. Customs, car registration, and acquiring other forms of documentation)
- Other duties as decided by the Embassy management
- Carrying out minor repair works in the office and residences if needed
Please note that the Ambassador may change the employee’s responsibilities in line with changes in the embassy’s priorities
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Ukrainian citizen
- Valid driving license
- Minimum 25 years old
- Driving experience at least 5 years
- Clean criminal record certificate
- Excellent driving skills
- Knowledge of technical maintenance of vehicles
- Good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of the city of Kyiv
- Physically and mentally fit
- Available to occasionally take weekend and night shift
Desirable requirements/skills:
- Knowledge and experience of driving armoured vehicles
- Experience from working abroad and/or in international organisations or embassies will be an advantage
Personal qualities and capabilities
- Professional, always on time, service minded
- Highly skilled and experienced in driving safely and comfortably in all conditions
- Responsible, trustworthy, flexible and a good team player
- Very high degree of safety awareness
