The are several Norwegian Hoorary Consuls in the United Kingdom.
Honorary Consuls are appointed by the Norwegian Government, but are usually nationals of the host country.
As the title implies, the Consuls do not receive a salary from the Norwegian Government, but have agreed to represent Norway in their region on a voluntary basis. Their main task is to provide consular assistance to Norwegian citizens, promote Norwegian interests and further Norwegian-British co-operation in their region.
