Cooperation on Framework Conditions for Private Sector Development in the South – Call for proposals

Norad launches a new call for concept notes under the grant scheme: Cooperation on framework conditions for private sector development in developing countries.

The grant scheme aims to stimulate to a business climate that promotes private sector development. The grant scheme is primarily aimed at building and strengthening institutions and private sector actors in development countries where Norwegian and international organizations can contribute by providing technical advice and capacity building.

The grant scheme has a particular focus on identifying projects for strategic partnerships with private enterprises and noncommercial organizations that jointly address specific framework impediments in value chains in developing countries.

The scope of the call for proposals in Uganda is for projects within the following set of sectors: • Agriculture and agro-processing • Fish and marine resources • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
