On 27 March, the Embassy co-hosted an event at DTAC Accelerate, joining together the Thai-Norwegian network for exchange students and the Norwegian-owned company DTAC.

On Monday 27 March, the Embassy, together with the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, co-hosted an event with DTAC Accelerate. The participants were Thai students who have previously been on exchange in Norway, who could therefore be a valuable resource to Norwegian companies based in Thailand. The Embassy and Chamber of Commerce hope this will be the first of many events where companies and potential employees can meet and get to know each other.

The event with DTAC was hosted in DTAC Accelerate’s venues at the Hangar co-working space. The program started with a tour of the venues, showing where the start-ups connected to DTAC Accelerate can work and expand their businesses. Afterwards, Ambassador Paulsen held the welcoming remarks, thanking DTAC for hosting the event and outlining the importance and relevance of the Thai-Norwegian student network. Executive Director of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, Anne-Kari Gulliksen, also held an introduction before the program continued with more information about Telenor, DTAC and the DTAC Accelerate program. DTAC had also invited two of the start-ups from the program, Skootar and Takemetour, who explained more about the possibilities of the program.
