The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dar es Salaam hereby invites eligible organisations to apply for a grant according to the Call for proposals below. The application shall contribute to the participation of women in democratic processes at all levels of the society, from the villages and communities to the national level. The application needs to be sent through the MFA Grant Portal. Deadline for receipt of applications is 7 November 2019.

Due to a high number of applications, the announcement of the results has been delayed. The results will be finalized before end February 2020. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Due to technical problems with the Grant Portal, the deadline is extended to 8 November 2019.

The Norwegian Embassy has received questions from one of the applicants regarding the notification date of approved application and date of disbursement of funds.

The Embassy aims to announce the approved application in mid-November 2019, with signing of grant agreement and disbursements of funds latest by first week of December 2019.

The unsuccessful applicants will receive a letter of regret with information regarding the evaluation process of received applications.

The Norwegian Embassy has received a question from one of the applicants regarding the grant size.

The total annual grant amount is set to NOK 3 million, subject to Norwegian Parliamentary appropriations and the Letter of Allocation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to RNE. The project may be up to 4 years in duration, starting from 2019.
