Norwegians living in Sri Lanka who wish to renew their passport can contact the Embassy to make an appointment. It takes up to 3 weeks from your appointment until the passport is ready. We recommend everyone to check and ensure that their passport is still valid.
The following deadlines will apply for passport applications:
- 28 February 2023 – Last day for first-time applications for passport and requests for personal identification number.
- 28 April 2023 – Last day of applications for passport renewal.
- 31 May 2023 – Last day of applications for emergency passport.
