The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Riyadh has 14 employees, incl. four diplomats. The Embassy’s mission is to serve Norwegian interests and promote relations between Norway and Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen. The Embassy has two drivers who share the tasks and step in for each other during holidays and other absence.
The Embassy is recruiting a full-time Driver to assist with official duties. In addition to driving duties, the successful applicant will be expected to carry out errands and deliveries to Embassy, as well as assisting other members of the Embassy’s staff with administrative tasks, including receptionist duties.
On-call and after working hours may be required for this role, as well as occasional travel outside of Riyadh.
This is a busy job in multicultural team environment, and requires the ability to get along well with others. The position offers the scope to learn more about working in an Embassy environment, and to strengthen your skills in carrying out official procedures.
Good English and Arabic language skills are essential. You will have experience as a professional driver elsewhere, and proven effectiveness as a member of a team.
You will need to be able to communicate clearly, to multi task effectively and be flexible, adaptable and resourceful in how you go about your work. A positive attitude and a good sense of humour will go a long way in helping you fit quickly into our small, friendly team.

This is a locally employed position. Non-Saudi applicants must have residence permit/transferable iqama. All applicants must have a valid driving licence. We recommend women to apply.
