There is a 50 % temporary vacancy until the end of 2024 at the Norwegian Embassy in Bucharest for a locally employed administrative officer to assist in opening the Norwegian Embassy Office in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. The position will be seated in Bucharest. Early start of the employment is a requirement.
Duties and Main Responsibilities
- Acquisitions of goods and services in Chișinău
- Assist the diplomatic staff in both Bucharest and Chișinău in any administrative task.
- Be able to competently read and review contracts in Romanian.
- Obtain relevant information regarding rules and regulations within several aspects of the administrative tasks.
- Assist in planning and organizing meetings, events and official visits.
Requirements and personal skills:
- Excellent written and oral abilities in English and Romanian a precondition.
- Must be able to handle confidential information.
- Reliable and able to keep deadlines.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Able to be proactive and take initiatives.
- Able to work quickly and accurately.
- Service-minded.
- Willing to develop expertise in various fields and be flexible with taking on different tasks.
- No criminal or judicial records.
The above-mentioned tasks can be amended by the Embassy. On the job training will, if needed, be provided by the Embassy.
