The Norwegian Government has published new restrictions for foreigners entering Norway, taking effect at midnight between Sunday the 8th of November and Monday the 9th of November.
- All travelers from red countries must show a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before entering Norway. The negative test does not exempt the travelers from going into quarantene for a 10 days's period. Norwegian citizens and foreigners with a Norwegian residence permit are exempted from the requirement of a negative COVID-19 test, but must be in quarantine.
- All travelers from red countries without a place of residence in Norway or without a guarantee of a suitable place of residence in Norway, must stay in quarantine hotel and get tested during the quarantine period. This also applies to family members who come to visit relatives.
