The Embassy is seeking a housekeeper/cleaner for the Ambassador’s Residence (75%) and the Embassy Chancery (25%).
The main tasks are:
- Keep the properties clean and tidy, both the Ambassador’s residence and the Embassy Chancery
- Keep the official kitchen in the Ambassador’s Residence in order for upcoming events, including control on the inventory and ironing linen when needed, etc.
- Keep control of the inventory in all official rooms of the Ambassador’s Residence
- Assist and control when external companies need to do work/services at the Ambassador’s Residence
- Assist during events at the Ambassador’s Residence
- Some work in the evening or in the weekend may be required
As our new colleague, you possess the following qualifications:
- Five years of work experience in similar work
- Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English
- ICT knowledge
- Administrative tidiness

- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to be efficient and deliver tasks in time
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Coping with a dynamic work environment
- Positive contributor to the working environment

Information:
- Start-up date: 1 April 2025
- The position is full time (100%), divided with 75% at the Ambassador’s Residence and 25% at the Embassy Chancery
- This a new designed position and is temporary for one year, but with the possibility of extension and permanent employment
- Work contract based on Dutch labour and employment rule
