Travel to Norway via Sweden and/or Luxembourg?

Foreign nationals, who reside in EU/Schengen countries that are exempted from quarantine in Norway, may nonetheless travel through Luxembourg and areas in Sweden without having to go into quarantine upon arrival in Norway if they fulfil certain conditions.

Foreign nationals from EU/Schengen countries that are exempted from quarantine (this includes per 15.07 The Netherlands) may travel through areas with increased infection without having to go into quarantine in Norway if they if they fulfil the following conditions:

  • They are travelling in their own vehicle en route to Norway.
  • They do not stay overnight in the area.
  • They fulfil distancing and other infection control requirements during the trip
