The Philippine Government and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) are scheduled to meet for a new round of peace talks in Noordwijk aan Zee, the Netherlands, between 27 May and 1 June. The talks will be hosted by the Royal Norwegian Government. Norway has been facilitator of the peace process since 2001. This round of talks is the fifth since the formal resumption of the peace negotiations in the summer of 2016. Among the issues to be discussed during this round are social and economic reforms, political and constitutional reforms and a future interim joint ceasefire.
The venue for the talks is the Radisson Blu Palace Hotel Noordwijk aan Zee, 27 May till 1 June
