The Philippine Government and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) are scheduled to meet for a new round of peace talks in Noordwijk aan Zee, the Netherlands, 2-6 April. The talks will be hosted by the Royal Norwegian Government. Norway has been facilitator of the peace process since 2001. This round of talks is the fourth since the formal resumption of the peace negotiations in the summer of 2016. The parties held two rounds of talks in Norway in August and October 2016, and one round in Rome in January this year. Among the issues to be discussed during this round are a bilateral ceasefire agreement and social and economic reforms.
The venue for the talks is the Radisson Blu Palace Hotel Noordwijk aan Zee, 2-6 April
