Press launch of the inaugural Asia Pacific Food Forum

Official launch of the inaugural EAT Asia Pacific Food Forum, a high-level forum co-hosted by the EAT Foundation and the Indonesian Ministry of Health in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 30 – 31, 2017. The Forum will gather 500 high-level political, business, academic and civil society leaders in the region to stimulate dialogue, facilitate sharing of best practices and co-design solutions to Asia Pacific’s most pressing food, health and sustainability challenges.

The purpose of the press conference is the official launch of the inaugural EAT Asia Pacific Food Forum, a high-level forum co-hosted by the EAT Foundation and the Indonesian Ministry of Health in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 30 – 31, 2017. The Forum will gather 500 high-level political, business, academic and civil society leaders in the region to stimulate dialogue, facilitate sharing of best practices and co-design solutions to Asia Pacific’s most pressing food, health and sustainability challenges.

The EAT Foundation is a global initiative linking food, health and sustainable development across science, business and policy. The overall objective of EAT is to catalyse a transformative shift in the global food system to sustainably feed a growing world population, by expanding scientific knowledge on the interconnections between food, health and environmental sustainability, spurring innovation along the food value chain, and facilitating development of evidence-based policies.
