The European External Action Service (EEAS) together with the Mission of Norway, the Mission of Iceland and the Mission of Liechtenstein to the EU have the pleasure to welcome you to the opening of an exhibition about the EEA and Norway Grants.
The EEA Agreement entered into force 25 years ago, and is the cornerstone of relations between Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and the EU. The EEA Agreement also sets out a common goal of working together to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe. Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein contribute to this through the EEA and Norway Grants. EUR 2.8 billion are made available for the period 2014-2021. The exhibition displays projects in 16 beneficiary countries.
Teacher Lucia Misikova and one of her students from the Maximilián Hell Elementary School in Slovakia will share experiences from the project «Rainwater Garden For Our Future».
Opening remarks from 17:45 by
