Visa Application Centre

Norway’s Visa Application Centre is operated by VFS Global and will facilitate applications for Schengen visas to Norway, Denmark, Lithuania and Iceland. From 2 May 2019, the Visa Application Centre will also receive applications for residence permits in Norway.

Address: Str.Rustem Statovci, No 36 - Prishtine.

Opening times:  Monday to Friday between 09:00-16:00

Schengen Visas

1. Visa applicants must register and pay the fee online at the Application Portal.

2. Visa applicants must deliver their application and all necessary supporting documents at the Visa Application Centre in Prishtina.

3. The Visa Application Centre will forward the application and necessary supporting documents to the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina.

4. The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina will process the application and decide the outcome on the basis of relevant rules.

5. The passport and decision will be returned to the applicant by the Visa Application Centre in Prishtina.

Recidence Permits

From 2 May, the Visa Application Centre will receive applications for residence permits to Norway. The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina will continue to receive residence permit applications for Denmark.

Information concerning Norwegian residence permits:

  1. Applicants must register and pay the fee online at the Application Portal.
  2. Applicants must make an appointment with the Visa Application Centre in Prishtina: https://www.vfsglobal.com/Norway/Kosovo/, in order to deliver their application and all necessary supporting documents.
  3. The Visa Application Centre will forward the application and necessary supporting documents to the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina.
  4. The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) will receive all applications for a residence permit and make a decision in such cases.
