Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj visits Norway

Foreign Minister of Norway Børge Brende and Foreign Minister of Kosovo Enver Hoxhaj met 18 April in Oslo to discuss political situation in Western Balkans and enhanced bilateral cooperation.

The meeting between FM Brende and FM Hoxhaj in Oslo confirmed that Kosovo remains a priority for Norway┬┤s cooperation in the Balkans, and that possibilities for strengthened cooperation and ties will be explored. FM Brende underlined that Norway supports Kosovo's efforts towards Euro-Atlantic integration, encouraged Kosovo to keep up the reform process, and stressed the need for a continuation of the Kosovo-Serbia normalization dialogue and for stability and further progress in the region. He also welcomed the decision to have an inclusive and gradual process on the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force, within the framework of the constitution.
