You or the person you have authorised will be notified by email, telephone or letter when your application has been processed.

If you have a citizenship that requires a visa to Norway and have been granted a residence permit, an entry visa sticker will be placed in your passport to allow you to travel to Norway.

If your application has been rejected, you will receive a written explanation as to why it was rejected. You can appeal the decision.The appeal must be sent to the Directorate of Immigration by uploading the documents on their website You can find more information about the appeal process and processing times on the UDI website
