Today marks the beginning of Oslo Pride, a 10-day long festival to celebrate love, freedom and diversity.

The event was first established in 1982 and is Norway's largest festival for LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer).

The purpose of Oslo Pride is to help people live their lives freely regardless of sexuality, identity, lifestyle and gender expressions, without being faced with discrimination, threats or violence. These issues are addressed through concerts, art exhibits, shows, film screenings, parties, and political debates.

Oslo Pride consists of more than 150 small and large events with free admission. Do as 30,000 parade participants and 70,000 guests, and join the celebration. Stand up for love, human rights and freedom for all!
