Norway appoints its first female Foreign Minister

Ine Eriksen Søreide has been appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs creating history in Norway, as the top three positions in the Government will now be held by women. These include the Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg, Norwegian Finance Minister Siv Jensen and now the Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide, who was formerly Norway’s Defence Minister.
