The AEM technology is provided by a very few organizations worldwide, NGI being one of them.

NGI has performed AEM survey in Norway and also in other countries. The AEM survey is considered to be the most efficient and latest employed technology for the geophysical investigation in some of the countries having challenging terrains. The information about sub-surface helps in mitigating the risk perception about unforeseen geological occurrences. This give more accurate information to the client for the tendering purpose. The data obtained from the survey shall be interpreted which shall further be used to fix the tunnel alignment. This non-intrusive method of geophysical survey is being used for the first time in the country.
