Information regarding visa application

The Embassy is experiencing the very peak season and we assure we are doing our best to case handle the visa applications on time. Please read this carefully:

Queries?
Visa and Immigration related queries must be addressed to VFS Global Services Pvt. Ltd, not the Embassy. If it is queries VFS can't answer, VFS will forward your query to the Embassy.

- your full name
- d.o.b
- passport number

Status queries?
Please note that enquiries about status of your application will not be answered. Please also note that the Embassy cannot prioritize applications unless it is because of death or serious illness, please see UDI's web page for details. 

Additional documentation?
Please send this to visum.new.delhi@mfa.no. We will attach it to your case. However, we will not give you a confirmation on the receipt of the documents. 

You will be notified when your application is processed
There is therefore no need to contact VFS regarding status of your visa application, unless the case processing time for your visa has exceeded 15 days. Remark that the 15 days are counted from the day it is received by the Embassy, not from the date it is submitted to VFS. Please allow for another 3-6 days of courier between VFS and the Embassy.
