The ideal candidate will have a good command of Hungarian and English both written and oral, secretarial skills, and relevant work experience. Norwegian speaking candidates will be preferred, if qualifications of candidates are otherwise equal.
The position requires a person that can deal with a large workload, has great attention to detail, relevant education and work experience with office computer programmes and excellent organisational abilities, in addition to good teamwork skills to join a very enjoyable work environment.
The work comprises among other things keeping the ambassador’s and the expatriate staff’s diary and programme, schedule meetings, manage invitations, arrange for bank transfers, VAT refund, customs clearance, write Hungarian and English correspondence, manage office supplies, and also substitute for the reception clerk and the information/cultural officer in case of their absence.
