We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year of the Ox. As we enter the month of March, we look forward to see Shanghai’s first signs of spring when days become longer and flowers start to bloom. We have several news and events to share with you, so keep reading to see our newsletter for March.

NBA Annual General Meeting 2021
Norwegian Business Association China is pleased to invite all our members to attend the Annual General Meeting for the year of 2021 on Tuesday March 2nd. The AGM shall approve the Annual Report 2020, including the statement of accounts, as well as elect the Board of Directors and Chairman.

Date: Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021
Time: 18:00-21:00 (Registration from 17:30, 30min)
Venue: Info on venue will be announced later. Dinner will be served.

International Women’s Week to shed lights on women and girls

The Consulate supports Green Initiative’s launch of the International Women’s Week in Shanghai from 8th to 13th of March. The week will include a series of activities on the topics of gender equality, girl’s education, and women’s empowerment. There will be a film screening of the movie <He Named Me Malala>, a breakfast gathering with women entrepreneurs sharing their stories and a charity music concert named Her Planet, Her Children. Some events are open to the public.

The Bergen International Arts Festival Launched On Tencent Art

The festival, well known as Festspillene i Bergen, will be introduced for the first time in China between 5th and 27th March on the Tencent Art online program. The artists include the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, pianist Leif Ove Andsnes and violinist Eldbjørg Hemsing.

Consul General visited Norwegian companies in Shanghai



The Consul General did a courtesy visit to the facilities of Wikborg Rein, Aker Biomarine and DNB in Shanghai on February 10, 22 and 24. The tours were part of several visits to Norwegian companies, in order to learn more about their business scope and development in China.
