Klubb Norge invites you to a guided bike ride with guide Bato, through the center of Shanghai on Friday 16 April. The speed will be suitable for everyone.

Laerdal Medical Factory Tour & Ethical Trade Norway's Talk

Munch Museum WeChat account to be launched in China
The Munch Museum is home to the world's largest collection of works by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch. In the near future, the Munch Museum will open in a brand new building on Oslo’s waterfront. The new museum will trace the artist’s profound influence both on modern art and on artists through to the present day. To better engage with Chinese visitors, partners, and art lovers, the museum recently opened its official WeChat account.

Peer Gynt premiere in Hangzhou
The classic Ibsen play Peer Gynt is going to be re-adapted into a new Chinese symphony opera. The premiere is scheduled on 28 April at Hangzhou Grand Theater, lead by Taiwanese actor Wang Yaoqing. The Consulate will join a pre-warming event to reveal Ibsen and Norwegian culture behind the play.

On 18 March, Norwegian Consul General in Shanghai Ms. Lise Nordgaard visited Shanghai Municipal Foreign Affairs Office for courtesy. Mr. Xiaosong Zhang (Director General of Shanghai FAO), Ms. Yanqiu Yan (Director of Consular Section of FAO), received Ms. Lise Nordgaard. Deputy Consul General Ms. Hedda Himle Skandsen, joined the meeting.
Table of Norway
On March 14, 2021, a Norwegian seafood brand held a table of edible art and cultural activity (Table of Norway) in Shanghai. The organizer, Norway in a Box, advocating a low-carbon and environmentally friendly life concept, has applied blockchain technology to salmon farming and traceability in collaboration with DNV GL, VeChain Technology and other traceability system projects. At the event, attendees experienced a wonderful salmon sushi class with Norwegian salmon and learnt how Norwegian salmon became the most popular seafood in the world.

Shellfish chef program in Shanghai
Norway’s cold and clear waters offer perfect conditions for shellfish. Recently, the Norwegian Seafood Council collaborated with top restaurants in Shanghai, to discover how the freshly arrived shellfish from Norway inspire chefs to create delicious dishes.
