Canadian citizens can enter Norway

As of 26 November 2021, restrictions regarding who can enter Norway due to Covid-19 were lifted, and foreigners who have the right to enter Norway under the Immigration Act may travel to Norway. This means that Canadian citizens can enter Norway.

You must apply for a visa if this is required. Canadian citizens holding a valid Canadian passport can visit Norway for up to 90 days without a visa.

It is your duty to familiarize yourself with the rules including potential exceptions. If you do not meet the requirements or comply with the rules, you might be denied entry or prosecuted.

One of the measures is a requirement to register before arrival in Norway. All travelers (except children under 16) entering Norway must complete an entry registration form: entrynorway.no. You will need to present proof of entry registration for inspection on arrival.
