Removal of infection control measures due to the corona pandemic

The Norwegian Government has removed all regulatory measures against COVID-19. Some rules for Svalbard are being kept.

Following a recommendation from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, the Norwegian Government has removed all regulatory measures against COVID-19, including the remaining entry restrictions. The duty to complete entry registration and to produce a negative test prior to arrival has thus been removed and the same rules as before the corona pandemic apply now.

The change came into effect on 12 February at 10 am. Please note that there are other rules for Svalbard.

For more information about the changes, please see the Government’s press release.
