Result
You will be notified by email or SMS when your application has been processed. The result can be picked up at the same place as where the application was submitted.
If you have been granted a residence permit, a sticker will be placed in your passport to allow you to travel to Norway. The embassy or Consulate will contact you to let you know when you can collect your passport. The visa issued in these cases is not a Schengen visa, but an entry visa to Norway. You can only travel to Norway and only transit other countries with this visa. The visa is normally valid for a 7 days stay valid for a period given by the UDI.
If your application has been rejected your will receive a written explanation as to why it was rejected. You can appeal the decision according to information given in the rejection letter.
You or the person you have authorised will be notified when your application has been concluded and when the decision can be collected.
Your passport can be picked up where you submitted the application, normally within 1-2 weeks after UDI made the decision.
