As you are all very well aware of, the corona-virus (Covid 19) is one of the big global issues of the day. Please note the following:
- The travel information for Norwegians going to Angola on regjeringen.no has been updated to reflect the situation that visitors to Angola can expect.
- This includes screening at the airport upon arrival. If the screening reveals any symptoms that can indicate corona infection, travellers may be put in a government quarantine for a minimum of 14 days.
- According to a statement by the Angola Ministry of Health issued on March 17th, all travellers arriving from, or recently having been to, China, South Korea, Iran, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and France automatically will be placed in a government quarantine for a minimum of 14 days.
Please note that the above may change at short notice, including the list of countries. We will update our travel information as we receive new information, but we cannot guarantee that we always receive information ahead of changes being implemented.
As always, the Embassy is here to give consular assistance to any Norwegian citizens who may need that. Use the embassy e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone +244 222 449 936/447 922. Outside embassy opening hours our 24/7 Foreign Service Response centre In Oslo is available on +47 23 95 00 00.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have information to share or any questions.
