Remember that SMS stands for ‘Short Message Service’; when sending and receiving SMS text messages, we are limited to 160 characters. If you have a question that requires a long answer or if you want web address information, please contact us via our e-chat, e-mail or telephone service. If you tell us the name of the municipality where you live, we can often give you a more detailed answer.

Send an SMS as follows:

Tekst  INFO <your question> to: (+47) 1980

Example:

INFO what is the e-mail address for my local Nav office? I live in Asker municipality.

Send your message to: (+47) 1980.

If you send us an SMS during our opening hours, we will reply there and then. If you send us an SMS when we are unavailable, we will send you a reply the next working day. 

Normal opening times: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.
During July and August, our help desk opening times are: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 3 pm.
