Malaysia Digital Arrival Card required for foreign visitors.

Starting from January 1, 2024, every international visitor heading to Malaysia has to fill out the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before entering.

This digital pre-arrival form is accessible for completion up to three days before your planned arrival in Malaysia. To undergo validation at the immigration counter, travelers are required to provide both a valid passport and a duly completed MDAC to border officials.

All foreign citizens travelling to Malaysia must complete the MDAC, except:

i) Citizens of Singapore;

ii) Diplomatic and Official Passport holders;

iii) Malaysian Permanent Residents and Long Term-Pass holders;

iv) General Certificate of Identity (GCI) Brunei Darussalam holders;

v) Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility holders;

vi) Thailand Border Pass holders; and

vii) Indonesia Cross-Border Travel Document (PLB) holders.
