- Ambassador Eskedal
Trine Jøranli Eskedal has served as Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Maldives from 2019-2023 and worked at the Norwegian Parliament (Storting) from 2016-2019 as Head of Section for Arctic, Nordic and European affairs in the International Department.
In addition, she has held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including Director at the Secretariat of the Minister of European Affairs and Deputy Director at Secretariat of the Minister of International Development. She has been posted in the Philippines, France and Sudan and holds a Master in French from the University of Oslo.
Mrs. Eskedal is married with two children.
